A fashion designer's love of bold hues, colourful prints and quirky art pervades every corner of her eclectic beachside home.

Fashion designer Dui jokes that she could never be accused of being a minimalist. "My dad says I am the best nester around," she says with a laugh. "Ever since I was a kid I've found comfort and joy in surrounding myself with 'things'. I guess I've always felt there are too many lovely treasures in the world that need to be on display." The evidence of this lifelong passion comes alive in the vibrant home Dui shares with her son, Charlie, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, which brims with art, retro furniture, oodles of curios and an abundance of colour.
